This little beauty cut off about 10 inches of her hair for Locks of Love today.  We met to do the before photos in the bright and windy morning yesterday and ended this evening near sunset.  What an unforgettable gift Miss A. has given to a complete stranger. Her new hair style is beautiful, as is she :)

For me, photographing a newborn is truly an honor.  Parents give me their trust in caring for and handling their week old baby for a few hours and I supply them with unforgettable images.  Now, I want to take it one step further and I am putting out a casting call, so I need the help of my readers.

I will soon be offering In-Hospital Newborn Lifestyle Portraiture.  It is to take place within hours or the day after the birth (in-hospital only, no homes at this time). In a documentary fashion, I will photograph your new baby and the interaction with his/her new family in about an hour, unobtrusively, naturally and unposed.  The emotion of a new baby is indescribably beautiful and I want to document that for my clients.  While I am unable to offer birth photography (child-care issues), this is the next best thing and I cannot wait to begin this new journey.

Here’s the casting call information, so please pass it on if you know any ladies that are expecting a new baby by September 1st or so.

- baby must be delivered in the hospital by the first week in September (offer may be cancelled or extended as needed).

-hospital must be within a thirty minute drive of Allen zip 75002.

- I need to be contacted asap post-birth or within 6-8 (normal) hours so I can accommodate you (the sooner the better).

-a model release must be signed by both parents.

- the session will be free, you will receive ten digital images and a discount on any orders.

-there is no financial obligation for the parents, this is a free offer.

-please contact me in advance, but if you know someone now, please forward the info to them.

On another note, I will be out of the office spending time with my family from July 18-21.  Emails be checked on occasion but all calls will go to voicemail.

Believe it or not, there is still a little time to have a Senior Cameo Session (one hour, local Allen or McKinney location) and have standard print orders delivered before you graduate- IF you graduate after June 4th.  If you know anyone who still hasn’t had theirs done yet, please pass the information on to them- it’s not too late, but will be very soon!

Here’s are the last minute Senior portrait details:

- now offering ONLY the one hour Senior Cameo Session.  Session Fee is $175, including tax and is due at booking.

- images ready within 3 days after session, your gallery will be online with about 20 edited images to choose from.

- online gallery and ordering for three (3) days only and a minimum $500 order must be placed before the gallery expires.

- once you place the print order, the order will be ready for you to pickup in Allen within 3 days or so.

I have some weekday evenings around 6:30 available and a couple of weekend slots available immediately.  The last day to have a Cameo session will be May 25th.

ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 6pm on May 30th to guarantee order here by June 3rd.  Orders will not be shipped (you will pick them up in Allen).

I am looking for several 2011 Seniors to be model reps for your school.  Depending on the size, I want about 2 reps per school.  Girls and guys both!  If you would like to be considered, please fill read the following, then complete the application below.

First things first… the facts:

- you don’t need to be drop dead gorgeous to be a rep.  we come in all shapes, sizes and degrees of appearance.

- you don’t have to be the most popular student in school.  so long as you have a large circle of friends and are on Facebook, you qualify.

- you don’t have to be a cheerleader or class president.  you DO need to be friendly and have a lot of friends to show the photos off to.

- you will receive a free photo session (three hours or so at my choice locations), nice discounts and Rep cards to pass out.

- you will receive $20 cash for each senior who books a session.  no limit on those, but they can’t cancel.  when they pay their fee, you get your cash.

- at the end of the form, you’ll need to attach a current photo of yourself, so don’t submit it until you have one please.  this is not first come, first serve.  each applicant will be considered and I will contact you if I choose or have more questions.

I’ve gotten super busy today to make several slots available for Senior sessions.  If you still need to book your 2010 Senior portraits, I have just added additional slots for the week and weekends surrounding Spring Break.  I have both morning and afternoon slots on some days, unless noted below.

And… here is a special offer just for Seniors to get you in high gear for the dates below! If you get a friend to book a Senior Impression session too and you both do the session at the same time on the same day (BFF sessions are the best and most fun!) then you will both get $50 off your session fees.  If you can’t find a friend and want to do a solo Senior Impression session, I’ll take $20 off your session fee.  More updates will be added to my Facebook page, so fan me!  Spring Break sessions need to be booked asap so don’t wait long!

March Availability:

13, 14, 15:  a.m. and p.m. slots on most days

16, 17, 18:  6pm slots for Senior Cameo 1 hour session only, one per day. If you must have a Senior Impression session one of these dates, email me know by March 2nd and I’ll do my best for you!

20, 21:  both a.m. and p.m. slots available.

Here are the senior session option available:

Senior Impression $275 -up to four hours at 3 or 4 locations in DFW.  Multiple clothes changes and breaks allowed.  This is the most popular choice since you get all the variety you’ve dreamed about! This option gives you at least 45-50 images to choose from. There is a $300 minimum order required for this session from each booked Senior.

Senior Cameo $200 -one hour at one local (Allen or McKinney) location.  May have time for one partial clothing change. This option gives approximately 20 images to choose from.  There is a $400 minimum order required for this session.
