I met sweet baby Isaac, his two beautiful big sisters and the beaming parents this morning.  He has the sweetest little baby lips and itty bitty feet.  I adore the newborns for their sweet little parts that change far too quickly.  Near the end while he was feeding, I took some fun shots of the sisters and they were as giggly as can be.  Enjoy the sneak peek J & Y.  More to see soon :)

I had the best session today!  This beautiful family of nine stood out in the muddy, cold and windy weather to do their family session.  We had a fun time and I got the variety I insist on (and you know how I love variety).  I always tell my clients before we begin that I tend to wear them out and to tell me when they’ve had enough of me!  I just love what I do and can easily get carried away :)

It was a pleasure meeting you, the E. Family and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

More to come soon!

help-portrait09Collage_RhondaDuronPhotography

Our world-wide Help-Portrait event was all day yesterday on 12.12.09.  While we will respect the privacy of the families involved, I could not wait to show some extra photos we took over the day.  These images show the true meaning of the event and more behind the scenes photos to come soon. We took the photos and will print and deliver them before Christmas.  For free.

We want to thank each family that came out despite the misty skies, chilly wind and 45 degree weather that we photographed in outside.  Through the Allen Community Outreach (ACO), we met 52 beautiful faces and 104 soulful eyes.  Countless thanks, hugs and tearful appreciation made the entire day worth every moment we spent there.  Most of the families had never, ever had a professional portrait taken.

I want to thank my three volunteers that helped me throughout the day.  I had a vision for a real 8 foot flocked (ok, sort of ) Christmas tree  with silver ornaments.  We added special red words to it and it was perfect for our day.  The kids loved it and I will never forget how their faces lit up when they saw it.

– Amy,  thank you for getting so many donors to help with all the things we needed for the day and for all that you did on site.  You are a gift for all you did  :)

– Jackie,  thank you for being along side me with behind your camera, capturing the behind the scenes photos (can’t wait to see them).

– Rob, my husband– thank you for helping transport the tree back and forth and getting it set up.  I loved having you involved :)

Thanks to all three of you for withstanding the cold, serving the goodies and hot cocoa.  You helped make each person a bit warmer and hopefully a feel a little more special for their short time there.

Shown in the photo above- 3 of the 4 of us afterward: (left-Me, Middle- Amy, Right- Jackie) Not shown- Rob, who took the photo.

Lastly- a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the nameless people and organizations who donated the pavilion, food, drinks and all the necessities for the entire day.  Your generosity will never be forgotten and it’s so special that you donated these things knowing that you could not be named  for giving your part.

My heart is still bursting with joy.  Thank you again to each and every one!

:D

I met up with this gorgeous family for their first family portrait session yesterday.  I knew it would be crazy chaotic energetic with 3 children of this age for a mini, but with some patience, humor and bad singing (mine) , we had a good time and got some laughter and smiles in such a short time.  Enjoy the mini sneak peek M!

I laughed so hard when I saw these last two images back to back (note the second head that suddenly appeared!! :)

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family two years in a row now.  They are proudly expecting another child and no doubt Miss R. will be a great and curious ;) big sister.  Enjoy the mini sneak peek K & J!

I had a great session this morning with this beautiful family at their home.  The adorable little guy there is just learning to walk and he was such fun to capture at this age! I really love lifestyle sessions like this.  They offer so much personality to the images!  I always give a lot of variety to my clients so it was very hard to narrow down a few random favorites.  Enjoy the large sneak peek!

I spend a lot of time this weekend with sweet baby Maya.  She blessed her anticipating family two weeks early and she could not be more perfect.  She has the most gorgeous head of hair that I have ever seen on new baby- not to mention those scrumptious feet.  She makes it very clear why I love this job so much.  Her mom was referred to me and she said she knew I would capture all those sweet little parts that newborns lose so quickly.  I adore all the time we spent together and I hope you enjoy the sneak peek (extended peek I should say!)  :)

(… so just a few of my favorites so far.  More to come soon…)

One word: Lips.   Two words:  nose dots.  Those combined make me a sucker for newborns.  This baby had the most beautiful lips ever… perfection.
Sophia.  A beautiful, beautiful girl who delighted me with endless smiles.  I could not get enough of her when she slept, so I was happy that her parents didn’t run me out of their home after so long.  It finally stopped raining, so we went outside for a bit and the beautiful backyard was a perfect setting for those!
It was so difficult to choose some favs for the blog, but I just can’t spoil them all :)

Enjoy J & T, it was a pleasure spending the day with your little family of three. I have the best job ever!  Have I said that before?
