Just a note to say a warm THANK YOU to all those who voted me as your favorite and BEST PHOTOGRAPHER once again, this time by the Allen American Readers Choice 2012 Awards.  I am humbled and at a loss for words once again and I never expected to be honored twice in one year with such a surprise!

From the bottom of my heart and to the ends of the Earth- thank you, thank you.

Another 2012 Senior Impression session that I wanted to show off.  Isn’t she stunning?  Her hair and makeup were done flawlessly- and her choice of wardrobe complimented her beautifully.  Oh my, the variety that we captured in our time together…  I couldn’t be happier.  Waiting for these final few images in the moments before sunset always proves to be my favorite time of day.  The glorious golden hour does not disappoint.

I do have a couple of session spots open for 2012 Seniors and 2013 Seniors that want to apply to be Reps can email me for details.  Graduation is just a month away so don’t wait if you want a session!

An embarrasing amount of time has passed since I actually blogged a client.  I am sorry.  Really I am.  Life is crazy these days.

Here is a recent senior from the Corsicana travel sessions I did last month.  I so loved the downtown area that I grew up nearby and all the hidden places that we found were treasures waiting to be found.  I could shoot there for an eternity.  Cheyanne did a great job and shined right out of her shyness.  A very big University awaits her come Fall.  Congrats to her and good luck!

I think everyone knows someone who has had- or has been affected by breast cancer.  I encourage anyone reading this to reach out to those in treatment or who have survived breast cancer and send her this link because I WANT TO PHOTOGRAPH HER at whatever stage she is in right now.  It won’t take long and it isn’t going to be stressful for her.  I want her beautiful, true self.  Riight now.

and…. I have something to say to her:

|   Breast cancer is a beast that can sometimes make women feel like their beauty or femininity is being threatened.  Experiencing chemotherapy, radiation, medications or surgery can take a toll on how you may see yourself and nothing will make me happier than to photograph you and help you feel as beautiful on the ouside as you really are on the inside.  Cancer cannot kill your love or your friendship or your spirit so that is something to celebrate all for yourself.  Without cost or sales, I will provide you with a complimentary portrait session, for you and only you.  It won’t take too much of your time, it won’t be complicated, there is no family or children to prepare and you can wear what you feel beautiful in. Whether you are at the beginning of this chapter, are tired and in the middle of treatment, or if you are a survivor, I would love to meet you and hear your story.   After your session, I will edit the images to perfection and will provide you with ten digital images that you can print and share just how you choose.   |  Just like that  |  You deserve this.

Please email me your story- as much or as little as you want:   info(at)rhondaduronphotography(dot)com

I think it was my fourth time photographing this almost three year old.  She was quite a busy girl so the only time I got to catch my breath during this playground portion was when I was lying under the swingset.   So worth the last shot of the day!
